Humboldt RCMP say Highway 5 is closed in both directions about seven miles west of Humboldt after a serious collision.
The RCMP release doesn’t say how many vehicles were involved, but that drivers should expect delays as a detour is set up.
It adds that drivers should use caution around emergency workers on the highway.
STARS Air Ambulance indicated on Twitter their Saskatoon-based helicopter had been dispatched to the Humboldt area for an emergency around noon.
