Saskatoon police have located the caregiver of a child found by staff at a north end restaurant Tuesday.
Shortly before 5:00 a.m. officers were called to the Tim Horton’s on Primrose Drive where a child showed up alone and in distress.
Police say the boy, between 6 and 8 years old, didn’t speak and was cognitively delayed.
Saskatoon police have confirmed that the boy had gone missing from a home in the 300 block of Thain Crescent, which is about 1.5 kilometres from the Tim Hortons.
650 CKOM has learned it is a group home in the Silverwood Heights area.
The operator of the group home did not provide any comments on the incident.
