A 56-year-old man died early Monday after the truck he was driving rolled over on Highway 3 west of Paradise Hill.
The Maidstone RCMP said when emergency crews got to the scene, the Ford F-150 truck the man had been driving was on its roof in a slough.
The driver and lone occupant was declared dead at the scene.
A preliminary investigation revealed the truck was travelling eastbound on Highway 3 when the driver lost control of the truck, which rolled and came to rest in a slough.
The incident caused the highway to be closed in both directions early Monday morning, but was reopened at about 9 a.m.
