Murray Wood: Alberta First Comrade!
Turns out there have been some nefarious actors 'putin' their thumbs on the scales in the Alberta independence campaign,...
Twenty-one-year-old Fabian Morin has been charged with second-degree murder in relation to the death of three-year-old Emily McCallum-Daniels in the city last month.
According to a media release from the Prince Albert Police Service, McCallum-Daniels was the victim of the homicide on April 9.
Morin made his first court appearance by video on Wednesday morning. He has been placed in custody until the next court appearance on June 5 at 10 a.m.
Police confirmed in the release the accused is a half-brother to the victim. The Criminal Investigations Division continues to investigate.
More to come.
