Man who shot up Hudsons Pub sentenced to five years

A man who pleaded guilty to a shooting at a downtown Saskatoon pub is getting five years in jail.

Back on March 3rd, 25-year-old Tyrell Davey walked into Hudsons and fired off two rounds with a rifle.

Three friends from Prince Albert who were in Saskatoon for a stag party confronted the man, disarmed him and held him until police arrived.

Davey pleaded guilty to discharging a firearm with intent and possession of a firearm and ammunition contrary to an order.
