A 16-year-old boy is facing a long list of charges after Regina police were called to two separate incidents Tuesday night.
A 33-year-old man called police around 9 p.m. on Jan. 17 after allegedly being threatened by a man with a gun near a playground on 5th Avenue and Montague Street.
Officers weren’t able to locate the suspect at that time.
A short while later, a woman called 911 saying a man confronted her with a gun in the 1300 block of Queen Street, but then ran away.
Police were able to locate the teenager who allegedly had a loaded sawed-off gun in the waistband of his pants.
The accused faces 17 charges, 15 of those charges are weapon-related. He’ll appear in Regina Provincial Court Wednesday afternoon.
