Murray Wood: It's time to pull over reckless people on scooters, bikes
Murray Wood says he's had too many close calls with people on scooters, bikes and skateboards. But he's never seen them ...
A 30-year-old Saskatoon man is facing a mischief charge after he allegedly pointed a green laser at the Saskatoon Police Service’s Air Support Unit on Sunday night.
According to the police, the incident took place shortly after 11 p.m., when the unit’s officers reported that a laser had been aimed in their direction mid-flight.
They identified a house in the 500 block of Avenue H South from which the laser beam had originated. Ground units went to the house and arrested the suspect.
Neither the pilot nor tactical flight officer reported injuries.
