There have been eight new cases of COVID-19 found in the province but there were also eight new recoveries reported.
The Government of Saskatchewan said there is a total of 349 (347 confirmed, two pending) reported cases of COVID-19 in the province. Fifty-seven of those cases are considered active.
Seven of the eight new cases reporter are in the far north area.
Of the 349 total cases, 57 are considered active with four people in hospital. Of the four in hospital, two are receiving inpatient care (1 in the north, one in Saskatoon) with two in intensive care in Saskatoon.
There have now been a total of 288 recoveries
As of April 25, 2020, Saskatchewan has eight new cases of COVID-19, bringing the provincial total to 349.
Seven out of the eight new cases today are in the far north.
Fifty-seven of the 349 cases are considered active. Eight more people have recovered, bringing the provincial total to 288 recoveries.
There are currently four people in hospitals across the province. Two people are receiving inpatient care and two people are in intensive care.
Of the 349 cases, 138 are travellers, 146 are contacts or linked to mass gatherings, 34 have no know exposure and 31 are under investigation.
Thirty-seven cases in the province are health care workers but the source of the infections may not be heal care related.
There 150 cases in the Saskatoon area, 73 in Regina, 65 from the north, 15 from the south and 35 from the far north.
A public health order has been signed to restrict all non-critical travel into and out of northern Saskatchewan. The province is continuing to increase testing and contact tracing in the La Loche area.
To date, 27,232 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province.
