Saskatoon police have arrested a 27-year-old man after a crash that sent a 15-year-old girl to hospital with minor injuries.
At about 8 a.m. on Saturday, police received a complaint about erratic driving near the Gordie Howe Campground.
“The vehicle initially hit a perimeter fence at the campground, then crashed through the gates at the Gordie Howe campground deploying the air bags and disabling the vehicle,” read a news release from police.
They say the driver then ran away.
His 15-year-old passenger suffered facial injuries.
The driver was later tracked down by a K-9 unit near the Holiday Park Golf Course.
He faces charges including impaired driving causing bodily harm, refusal, assault and mischief.
