Saskatoon’s streets won’t be hosting any big events until at least June.
The City announced Friday afternoon it wouldn’t be approving any outdoor special events scheduled from now until May 31, citing Saskatchewan’s public health order to limit the size of public and private gatherings to a maximum of 10 people.
Flag raising ceremonies and any use of the civic square outside city hall are also being suspended indefinitely.
In its end of week update, the city also noted Saskatoon’s three municipally-owned golf courses would remain closed to the public until further notice.
Staff will remain on-site in a limited capacity to maintain landscaping.
