Police considering New Year's Day death in northern Sask. 'suspicious'

RCMP in northern Saskatchewan is investigating the suspicious death of a woman early New Years Day.

Police in Southend found an injured 44-year-old woman at a residence in the community.

She was taken to a health clinic and later pronounced dead.

An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow in Saskatoon.

Southend is 600 km. northeast of Saskatoon.
