On Thursday, March 12, Saskatoon police arrested and charged a man in connection with the death of Allison Moosehunter (Witchekan).
The accused is a 29-year-old man. He is facing charges of second-degree murder and offer an indignity to human remains.
He will make his first court appearance Monday morning.
On March 4, police were called to a home in the 500 block of Geary Crescent.
When they arrived they found Moosehunter (Witchekan) dead inside the home.
An autopsy was done and confirmed that her death was a homicide.
The cause of death is not being released at this time.
The victim and accused were known to each other.
