A longtime fixture in Saskatoon’s restaurant scene is no more after Jerry’s Food Emporium announced the closure of both locations on Wednesday.
The restaurant, known for its fish and chips, burgers, gelato and ice cream cakes, gave customers no warning when it announced the news on its social media pages.

The popular eatery first opened its doors in 1996 just off Eighth Street and expanded to a second location on 51st Street in 2012.
