Nine people were taken to hospital Wednesday morning suffering symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Four of those affected were children.
Saskatoon fire crews were called to a home in the 300 block of Avenue T North just after 9 a.m.
When they arrived, they found the carbon monoxide alarm sounding and nine people who were showing symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning. One of the people was unconscious.
Firefighters used carbon monoxide reading equipment and determined the levels in the home were over 100 parts per million (PPM). Safe levels average between 0.5 and five parts per million.
All nine people were taken to hospital by ambulance.
