The crash happened on Avenue H between 22nd Street and 23rd around 8:30 p.m. resulting in the closure of the road for several hours.
The boy’s injuries are described as serious, but not life threatening.
A police collision analyst was on scene investigating the cause. The street was reopened before midnight.
