The big guy himself is going through downtown Saskatoon Sunday.
The parade starts at 1 p.m. on 19th Street East near 3rd Avenue South. then heads North
along 3rd Avenue, turning at 21st Street.
The parade will continue eastbound to 4th Avenue, then turning westbound down 22nd Street.
At 1st Avenue, the parade will head to the Midtown Plaza main entrance where Santa will disembark, and head inside to official kick off the Christmas season.
Proceeds from the parade will go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Saskatchewan.
Because of the parade there’s road closures on Idylwyld Drive, 23rd Street, 5th Avenue and 19th Street, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
