If you were dreaming of a white Christmas in Saskatoon this year, you got your wish.
The City of Saskatoon reported eight centimetres, or three inches, of snow fell overnight creating the seasons third snow event.
City snow crews are out in full force, deploying six speed plows around Circle Drive, eight graders on high-traffic roads, 10 sanders on all priority streets and four sidewalk plows clearing sidewalks near city properties.
The city is warning drivers that roads may be icy and snow packed.
They’re urging drivers to slow down, use caution and allow extra time to reach their destination. Additionally, if blue and amber lights are around drivers, make sure to slow down and let road equipment pass.
