Regina police said officers have located the stolen SUV and the child, who is unharmed.
Police are still searching for a suspect.
Around 11:30 a.m. today, police received a report of a stolen 2013 Mitsubishi RVR, allegedly taken from the 3200 block of 13th Avenue.
Police said there was a one-year-old girl in the SUV.
Officers found the vehicle around 12:30 p.m., abandoned in the area of Regency Crescent in northwest Regina, with the child inside.
Police do not yet have a description of the suspect.
