Three unanswered third period goals broke a 3-3 tie and lifted the Medicine Hat Tigers past the Saskatoon Blades 6-3 Saturday night.
Up until late in the third it was a one-goal game with the two sides trading blows until three straight Tiger goals in the final eight minutes.
Braylon Shmyr(6), Mason McCarty(13) and Bryton Sayers (2) had the goals for the Blades.
Brock Hamm stopped 39 of 44 shots in the loss.
The Blades are back in action on Sunday against Lethbridge.
