650 CKOM’s sister station C95 raised $218,575 for breast cancer research at its annual radio marathon.
This years campaign was set up at Centre Mall for 12 hours on Friday.
Since C95 began the radio marathon 20 years ago it’s raised more than $4.6-million for research.
In a media release, C95 highlighted outstanding donations from Rawlco owner Gordon Rawlinson and his wife Jill, Midwest Laser Centre, Kindersley Composite High School, FYI Doctors, Sports on Tap, Alliance Energy and Food Safety First.
Proceeds from the event stay in the province and are used by the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency.
