Saskatoon police have a warning about a new robocall scam making the rounds.
They said they have already received more than 60 complaints from people who have got the call telling them they have violated federal laws and that they have the person’s social insurance number.
Police said the best thing to do is to hang up, not follow the directions of this robocall and to report it to police.
Police said if you receive a call like this, file an online report with them as well as the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
