Saskatoon police used a Taser to arrest a man after he attempted to attack officers with a knife Saturday.
A police media release said officers responded to a 9-1-1 hang up call to a home in the 2200 block of 17th Street West around 8:25 p.m. where a man was found in the yard.
He came at the officers with a knife before police used a Taser to apprehend him.
The 27-year-old man has been charged with two counts of assaulting a police officer with a weapon.
He will appear in front of a justice of the peace on Sunday.
