Saskatoon police are investigating an incident involving an injured man and a sawed-off shotgun.
Around 4:45 a.m. Tuesday, officers went to the 800 block of Avenue H North after getting a report of noises and a “loud bang” in a basement apartment.
Police were told two people had been seen leaving the residence.
After arriving on scene, officers found an injured 23-year-old man inside. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police also found a sawed-off shot gun and evidence it had recently been fired.
The man was not injured by the firearm.
He has been released from hospital and charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of cocaine.
