The smell of barbecue will waft over the Exhibition neighbourhood throughout the August Long Weekend as Saskatoon Rotary Ribfest is back for another year.
During this year’s festival, people can sample food from five ribbers, including last years People’s Choice winner Prairie Smoke and Spice from Regina.
Another returning group is Smoke and Bones of Vancouver which was named the 2018 Judge’s Choice.
Gates are scheduled to open at 4 p.m. Friday.
Ribfest runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on holiday Monday.
Along with free admission, there are also free activities for kids including a bounce castle, petting zoo and pony rides.
