The RCMP says its officers were called to a house fire just south of the resort village of Cochin early Sunday.
The fire was reported at about 4 a.m. on Murray Crescent, just off Highway 4.
Cpl. Rob King confirmed that a 30-year-old man was found dead inside.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
