A thunderstorm from Alberta is making its way into Saskatchewan that could bring heavy winds and hail with it.
Environment Canada issued a severe thunderstorm watch for man communities along the Alberta-Saskatchewan border.
Communities ranging from Shaunavon to Macklin are included in the watch issued Thursday afternoon.
Environment Canada warns these storms forming over southwestern and west central Saskatchewan have the potential to produce wind gusts upwards of 120 km/h and hail the size of loonies.
The storms are expected to dissipate this evening.
