Meadow Lake RCMP are searching for two suspects following a reported home invasion where a man was shot twice at close range.
Around 2:30 a.m. Thursday morning, RCMP were called to a home in Meadow Lake where two people reportedly entered a home in the middle of the night, assaulted and shot a person inside the home twice at close range.
The suspects quickly fled the scene. The victim of the shooting is in hospital recovering from non-life threatening injuries.
Ricky Lafond has a warrant out for his arrest in relation to the shooting. He is charged with a variety of weapons and assault related offences.
