A 19-year-old man has been charged with impaired driving in a fatal crash north of Regina on Sunday evening.
Police say Colby Nicholas Heid was driving on the Pasqua Street extension grid road, south of Zehner, when his pickup collided with another truck, killing a 37-year-old man from Regina.
RCMP have not released the name publicly, but friends on social media are naming the victim as Tanner Kaufmann. They are sending condolences to the family of Kaufmann, who leaves behind a wife and two young children.
Heid remains in custody and made his first court appearance on Tuesday.
