A 19-year-old woman is facing several charges after trying the get away from police.
Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning, officers saw a stolen vehicle being driven at 21st St and Avenue P.
When they tried to stop it, the man driving ran and the woman in the passenger seat got behind the wheel and drove off.
Officers caught up to her on 11th Street West, near Fairlight Drive, and arrested her.
She’s facing charges of possession of stolen property, evading police, dangerous driving, weapon dangerous, breach of undertaking and was wanted on numerous Criminal Code warrants.
Police are still looking for the man.
