Regina man accused of threatening people with a machete

A man was arrested after allegedly threatening five people with a machete on Sunday night, according to police.

Officers were called to the 2700 block of Winnipeg Street, south of Broadway Avenue, Sunday night at 10:20 p.m. They had a report that a man was there with a bladed weapon and was threatening people.

When police arrived on scene they allegedly found a man hitting the side of a home with a machete.

Alexander Leigh Taylor, 20, is charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon. He made his first court appearance Monday morning.
