Police responded to the area of 40th Street and Quebec Avenue at 3:47 p.m. Saturday afternoon and found a man with a stab wound to the chest.
He under went surgery and is listed in stable, but serious condition.
A 26-year-old man tried to flee the scene but was tracked down and arrested by a K-9 unit officer a short time later.
He has been charged with Aggravated Assault and 3 breaches of his current Undertaking conditions.
He’s expected to appear in front of a Justice of the Peace Sunday.
Police say the suspect and the victim knew each other.
