Saskatoon police have charged a 36-year-old man with a shooting that happened last month.
A 28-year-old woman was shot March 8 in a parking lot on the 600 block of Confederation Drive, according to a police media release.
Police reported at the time that the woman told officers she’d been approached by a man who tried to start a conversation before he got upset, pulled a gun and shot her.
The woman’s injuries were reported as non-life-threatening and she was expected to recover.
Police said the man was arrested without incident Tuesday by members of the guns and gangs unit. He was to appear Wednesday in Saskatoon Provincial Court.
