Canada in Rio: Saskatchewan shot putter Taryn Suttie

People in Hanley, Saskatchewan will be tuning in to the track and field events at the Rio Olympics to cheer on one of their own.

Taryn Suttie is competing in shot put – a sport she started while in middle school where provincial championship banners still hang in her name. A few years ago she realized she could compete on a much bigger stage.
