Pelican Narrows RCMP have laid second-degree murder charges against two men in relation to a death in the northern community.
The Mounties said they received a 911 call Sunday morning about a possible shooting on Linklater Street.
The victim, 28-year-old David Charles, had been taken to the local medical clinic with a suspected gunshot wound and had died of his injuries.
The investigation led to charges against 23-year-old George Samuel Custer and 22-year-old Gregory George Custer.
The men are to make their next court appearance at Provincial Court in Prince Albert on March 26.
