A 24-year-old man from Flying Dust First Nation is dead after a hit and run Saturday morning.
RCMP said it happened just before 5 a.m. on the Matchee-Neeb Road 20 kilometres east of Meadow Lake.
The vehicle did not remain at the scene.
Anyone that may have seen the crash, or the vehicle, is asked to contact police.
Meadow Lake RCMP, members of Saskatoon MCU, North Battleford Forensic Identification Services, Saskatoon Collision Reconstruction and North Battleford GIS are all assisting with the investigation.
An autopsy is expected to take place this week.
