A 12-year-old boy is dead after a head-on crash along Highway 39.
RCMP said a semi and a minivan crashed around 7 a.m. Saturday just east of Wilcox, located about 46 kilometres south of Regina.
The boy was a passenger in the van. He died at the scene.
Six others ranging in age from 12 to 37 were flown to hospital by STARS air ambulance with undetermined injuries.
Police said all the people inside the van are from Ontario.
The 57-year-old driver of the semi is fine.
RCMP investigators are trying to figure out a cause.
