A boy has been taken into custody after Yorkton RCMP received a call about a possible gun inside Yorkton Regional High School.
The call came in around 1:45 p.m. Monday. Once officers arrived at the scene, a boy was taken into custody without incident.
RCMP say the incident unfolded “very quickly” and therefore lock-down procedures were not initiated. RCMP never said if a gun was found.
The boy is not facing any charges at the moment. The investigation is ongoing.
