Country singer Garth Brooks says it is an honour to be playing in Gordie Howe’s hometown.
He opened his back-to-back shows Friday night wearing a Gordie Howe Detroit Red Wings jersey honouring the hockey legend who passed away earlier in the day.
Brooks tweeted “May we all mean to our sport what Mr Hockey meant to his.”
