8:30 – Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou is out on bail in Vancouver awaiting her extradition to the United States where she is expected to face charges of banking fraud related to the US sanctions on Iran. On Wednesday, Canada’s ambassador to China John McCallum said Wanzhou has a good chance of avoiding that extradition. Extradition lawyer Dr. Gary Botting joins John to explain the process and how Wanzhou could potentially avoid extradition.

12:00 – Paramedics with Prince Albert’s Parkland Ambulance had an exciting morning yesterday as they delivered a baby on the Diefenbaker bridge. The mother was being taken to the Victoria Hospital by ambulance when the baby arrived, so the crew stopped on the bridge and delivered the baby without complications. Levon Nagy, a primary care paramedic with Parkland, helped with the delivery and he joins John now.
