SWAT dealing with incident in southeast Regina

SWAT and Crisis Negotiators are currently surrounding a home in southeast Regina dealing with a man threatening to hurt himself.

Police say they are on Britannia Place, off Windsor Park Crescent, in the Greens on Gardiner neighbourhood. Nearby schools have been placed in “secure the building” mode.

Police say there were other people in the house but they have been removed.

Traffic is restricted but police say the street is not closed.
