For music fans looking to rock out on Friday night, the Casino Regina is holding a benefit concert for Fort McMurray.
Canadian alternative rock band Lowest of the Low is currently on a spring tour across Canada. But on Friday May 13, they will play a concert with Coldest Night of the Year in support of Fort McMurray.
Tickets are $30 and proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Red Cross to support evacuees in Alberta. You can buy tickets online at this link.
This is just one of thousands of examples of fundraising efforts inspired by the wildfire that decimated parts of Fort McMurray. Across Canada the Red Cross has raised more than $67 million to support evacuees and donations from Saskatchewan now total more than $1.5 million.
