People living in the Brevoort Park and Holliston neighbourhoods are dealing with the aftermath of a vandalism spree.
Over the weekend 16 vehicles were targeted and had tires slashed.
Kate Dean isn’t letting it ruin her Christmas but admits it’s not an expense she was expecting.
“We plan for these sorts of things, but it’s still frustrating to have to pay them.”
Dean said one of her SUV’s back tires was slashed.
“I still have to contact Saskatoon Police Service,” she said. “This (Wednesday) is my first day off to deal with it.”
Another resident first noticed the damage to her vehicle on Monday morning. She’s frustrated that her vehicle is often targeted while parked outside her home.
“We don’t have a driveway or garage,” she said. “Our windows get smashed all the time, (our cars get) keyed.”
She added that spray foam used in plumbing has also been left on vehicles.
Saskatoon police are asking anyone with information or security footage to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
