A woman who allegedly tried to break the windows of a Prince Albert home with a hockey stick is facing charges for an arsenal of weapons.
Prince Albert police were called to the 1200 block of 15th Street West around 1 a.m. Monday. People reported that a woman with a hockey stick was trying to smash the windows of the home.
By the time officers arrived, they found the suspect inside the home with numerous weapons including two sawed off shotguns, a sawed-off .22 caliber rifle, a .77-caliber BB rifle, a machete and a sword.
A woman was taken into custody. The 18-year-old woman faces charges of unsafe storage of a firearm, possession of a weapon, unauthorized possession of a firearm and a possession of a loaded prohibited firearm charge.
