Murray Wood: Of Easter bunny bells and Juicy Fruit gum
For Murray Wood, Easter brings to mind grandma's practical advice about repurposing, and some of life's little lessons.
Quads, kayaks and weed were among the items seized from two homes during a police raid Thursday morning.
Police searched two homes, one in the 200 block of McMillian Avenue and the other in the 200 block of Avenue N North. They found a number of items they think were stolen including six snowmobiles, a Kawasaki Quad, kayaks, canoes, a power generator, electronic stereo equipment, and aftermarket vehicle light bars.
They also found two pounds of marijuana.
A 38 year old man was arrested and charged with one count of possession of stolen property under $5,000, and one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
He will appear at Saskatoon Provincial Court Friday morning and police continue to investigate.
