Sarah Mills: Early wildfire season raises questions about prevention
Wildfires have forced thousands of people in Saskatchewan to leave their homes, and the summer hasn't even started yet. ...
Friday proved busy for Saskatoon fire crews who responded to two rollovers.
The first happened around 5:20 p.m. at 20th Street and Avenue B South and involved two vehicles.
Fire crews extricated one person stuck inside a pick-up truck that was on its roof.
As a precaution one of the drivers was taken to hospital.
Just after 7 p.m. crews responded to a single-vehicle rollover just south of the city on Clarence Avenue.
The driver was able to climb out of their window unharmed just as firefighters arrived.
