A special weather statement issued by Environment Canada suggests Saskatchewan could be in for a wet and windy week.
The weather agency said a strong system of thunderstorms is set to move into the province Wednesday morning, hammering areas with between 30 to 70 millimetres of rain.
Wind gusts between 80 and 90 km/h are also expected.
The statement covers the entire western side of Saskatchewan, stretching as far east as Moose Jaw.
Saskatoon, Prince Albert, the Battlefords, La Ronge, Swift Current and Kindersley are all under the advisory.
The city of Lloydminster is also facing a wind warning, with gusts of up to 100 km/h possible starting Wednesday afternoon.
Environment Canada said the heaviest rain is expected in the Meadow Lake and Ile La Crosse regions.
