A local charity is making a push to get Jimmy Kimmel to come to Saskatoon.
Wiegers Care for Kids launched a campaign last week in hopes of enticing the American late-night TV host to attend a fundraiser for the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan.
The video, narrated by Saskatchewan comedian Kelly Taylor, has over 77,000 views in less then a week. It features cameos from a number of local celebrities, politicians and sports figures, including C95’s Rob and Shauna, Mayor Charlie Clark and Saskatoon Police Chief Troy Cooper.
Kimmel has become known as an advocate for children’s health care after his son was born with a serious heart issue.
