Saskatoon police reported catching a driver with a seriously heavy foot Sunday evening.
The Saskatoon Police Service traffic unit took to its Twitter account with a post saying they caught a speeding driver around 5 p.m. Sunday on Lenore Drive.
Officers reportedly clocked the driver’s vehicle at 114 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.
The driver was fined $965 and had their vehicle impounded.
In Saskatchewan, driving double the speed limit can lead to a vehicle being seized for 7 days, as can ecxeeding any speed limit by more than 50 km/h.
