Neighbourhoods with dense tree canopy will be the first stop for street sweeping crews in Saskatoon.
On Monday at 8 a.m., crews plan to start work in Buena Vista, Caswell Hill, City Park, Holiday Park, King George, Mayfair, Nutana, Riversdale and Varsity View.
No parking signs will be put up along streets to warn drivers not to park ahead of the cleaning.
Any vehicles left when the street sweeper gets there will get a ticket and be towed.
Street sweeping helps prevent leaves from getting stuck in catch basins and helps drainage to avoid flooding in the spring.
