RCMP have laid charges after a man was woken by an attacker in his home on the Cote First Nation Saturday night.
Kamsack RCMP were called by the 38-year-old man on the First Nation shortly after 11:30 p.m. He told police he had been asleep when someone forced their way into his home and attacked him.
Mounties haven’t said if the victim was hurt.
Peter Randy Lincoln Stevenson, 22, of the Cote First Nation is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and break and enter.
